So much has been going on lately… The soap opera of my car for one… And the stupid random stuff that seems to happen all the time. Like Saturday afternoon… At least I think it was Saturday it might have been Friday… I was driving home, I don’t recall from where and right as I get to the turn to go into the gate I look up and see a cute guy with a dog walking past… I had to do a double take because I was like whats that cutie doing with my dog? Turns out, it wasn’t my dog… Just her exact twin… Same color, size, and just general look of Maggie… Yeah but for the second I thought it was her I was really puzzled…. I thought maybe Sean came over to walk her but his hair’s not that short and he’s not that skinny… And while I’m at it he doesn’t wear glasses… So I got home and there was my puppy, more than ready to go outside…

As for the car situation… Let’s see… I finally got it back Wednesday… I ended up taking a cab from the car rental place to the body shop. Paid and picked up my car… Was obsessed with looking at said car for a day or so afterward… A fresh new bumper works wonders I tell ya… And they even cleaned my car for me! Inside AND out… I was floored since I haven’t washed the inside of my car in so long it should be illegal… They found a bunch of stuff that had been M.I.A. A C.D. I’d been missing, a pair of shoes (don’t ask me how those got in there…), a book I never finished reading, and my cigarette lighter… Now that I don’t smoke, its going to come in handy I’m sure… hehehehe….

So yeah the steering is still off and so I have to go into NTB or something to get that fixed… But that’s not the end of my car woes… Oh no. So after I run some errands Saturday and go on a house cleaning rampage (I say rampage when I pretty much just vacuumed everything and did dishes and the bathroom….) and miss out on going on… Which is fine since I wasn’t really in the mood to go out really in the first place… So Sunday afternoon I go to my car since I’m thinking I’m going to the movie… Only to discover my left front tire is flatter than a pancake. Darnit. And since it was almost 6 there wasn’t a lot I could do about it (NTB closed at 6 and I thought if I had to get towed that’s where I was going…). So I took a cab to and from work Monday… After work Monday called Triple A and they came and changed my tire… Now I still have to go to NTB to get the alignment done AND the tire fixed… Ah well at least its 2 birds with one stone….

So let’s see what else… I got to check my email this weekend and found a couple of things from Dell… They just informed my shipping date was changing… At least 4 times since I last checked my email a week before… The most recent one I got was it was supposed to ship tomorrow but the way they’ve been working I probably won’t get it for another 2 weeks if I’m lucky… Darnit…

And I still haven’t heard from someone I’ve known forever that’s moving back to town this month… And I keep expecting to… And I probably shouldn’t but hope springs eternal and all that….

I just realized something…. God my life is kinda boring now… Other than work, my dog, my computer and car situations I don’t really have much going on…. Its probably a good thing I’m going out almost every night this weekend… Maybe that will bring more hilarity and some semblance of a social life back to the forefront… We’ll see…
