You break it, you buy it... Lord that girl cracks me up... And the fact she was throwing my words back in my face? Classic....
So I spent part of the night on the phone with Sean, trying to figure out a song... Then watched Beauty Shop with Sirena and then went back to talking to Sean, B, and Laurie... B and I even worked on a couple of songs.... Turns out I have some poetry thats damn near erotic... Nice... I also have some very cheezy what the hell was I thinking why didn't I listen to my friends stuff... Then I got Laurie's take on everything thats going on... And rehashed the whole Matt/Wade (hot boy(brown bagger) and hot boy's friend) thing, since it turns out she didn't know much about it... Oops... Also somehow she got my lil play whip and black fuzzy cuffs ( I have a pair of pink leopard print ones too, but I wondered where the black ones had gone...), I told her to keep em since I didn't want em back to imagine her and Sean using my play things... ew...
I also heard the same thing from Sean, Laurie, and Melly concerning the same thing, so i think I may have been overreacting... This guy I dig... Is from Dallas... And I was freaking about that because of my history with Dallas guys... Pretty much everyone told me not to hold it against him... I'm going to do my best but he's not acting real receptive... Dammit.
No idea what I'm gonna do about him yet... Darnit...
Sean also came up with a killa joke... Wouldn't it be greatness (completely sarcastic) if I met a guy who was a musician from Dallas named Matt? I bust a gut... 3 strikes right off the bat, the game's not going well for this poor guy I've never met.... :)
Also found out that I'm an extra in that film thingy I auditioned for... Didn't really expect much in the first place since my only acting experience is like as the lion in the 3rd grade production of the wizard of oz and the ugly sister with a wart in Big River in high school.... But in high school I got to hang out with JP... ahh them was the days.... back before I thought he was gay and was all that and hadn't gotten a chick preggers and had to marry her.... ah well...
I need to do dishes.... I don't feel like it right now though.... Also tommorrow.... er today... I think I'm going to dye my hair red... again... if not today then tommorrow.... which ever day I don't do it I'm goin to Russellville to go to Hastings... and then Monday and Tuesday are homework days... though I would like to go to scranton tommorrow... er today.... for a bottle of wine... 2 weeks no wine, makes Ali a very sober person.... Actually I haven't had a drink since RRB at the firehouse... Or that next night finishing off my stash with the guys... That's no bueno....
Also talked to mom today... turns out Perry (ie the current gov of the state of Texas) has taken the cap off of the limit set for the amount of students in a public school setting... He did this so people from Louisana can come to school in Texas... Ok, understandable... But as a teacher's daughter/greatniece/cousin and future teacher (hopefully) myself I have to wonder at what kind of strain thats gonna put on teachers... I understand wanting to help, hell I admire it, I just don't know how reasonable it is to expect everyone to get the best possible education when additional strain is placed upon them (the classrooms themselves and the teachers - kids adapt so easily....). Mom already has 2 new kids... She's also sending me some stuff on Maria Montesorri for a paper I'm doing... La thinks LSU starts back Tuesday... I told her to call and make sure cuz as far as I know they're still tryin to get their stuff together in BR... Also hurricane related... I can't believe the depths to which humans will sink to... Its disgusting... I also ran into an older man and his wife who had evacuated the day before Katrina hit and are now living with their son here, assuming they've lost everything there... Also Dr N is saying he's opening the school to college students from Louisana... Not sure how thats gonna work... But I've heard 2 girls are moving into my hall... and there are at least 14 other people coming in.... I'd laugh my ass off if La came up here.... Not gonna happen since she's in LSU's law school but it would be funny as hell... Wonder how everyone would react to her.... Linz and I are the nice ones and people think we're stand off ish till they get to know us and realize we so aren't... La.... She's a bitch. I say that with nothing but love... She can be nice when she wants to and she's very sensitive about everything... But she's hard to please and she can be very cool to people until she knows them and even then.... She can still be very cool and almost abrupt... thats about it and I'm getting tired....
