Well so its into the 2nd week of classes I go… So far so good… Things are looking up in a lot of ways and I don’t feel so swamped or bored. Ok the later is still a lil true but as I get more homework (who’dathunk I would ever be grateful for homework?) and find things to do its getting better… At the moment I’m thinking I might even volunteer a couple of hours a week at the animal shelter… Get to kill time and play with animals… Can’t beat that with a wet noodle… Also I have an audition for a small part in a school movie/skit thingy that a couple of communications majors are doing on Thursday. And I learned about an all day workshop that the JLC is doing on LD/ADD on October 6th and I think I’m signing up for that since its free and might be helpful to me…
Lets see… Cafeteria food still sucks here… Took a couple of oranges yesterday since that was all that looked edible and today had some fries and carrots and celery… Its like that have 3 lines now… One had wraps (eh…), then next has one main entrée and a couple of side dishes (none of which look in the least appetizing) and the last one with some sort of sandwich (usually hamburger that looks overcooked) and fries…. They still have cereal and the salad bar and the pizza line so there is still stuff to eat you just have to look…. And they still have their dessert sections that have cake/brownies that have been sitting out all day that look completely icky… And the ice cream…
Classes… I think I’ve described pretty well…. There’s an all hall meeting tomorrow night at 9 30 and some acoustic folk rock guy playing in the student center tomorrow night I may go to…
Now my favorite part the guys section of my writing… :0) So all the males of the species here are way too young for me, doesn’t mean I can’t look right? :0) Even the RD of the building is a year younger than me… Yeah I’m gonna do what he says, but if I was really rebellious I’d say screw you I’ll do what I want… :0) But he’s hot and he stays out of my business so its all good… Theres also a couple of hot R.A.’s… One of em (even though he’s a sophomore and a soccer player) is such a doll, we (we being me and a couple of girls on my hall) were just sitting around laughing and he came down to let one of us in our room and he wound up being the one on duty and he stayed down here and had us rolling in the floor even more…
Yes there are still guys here that I know from when I was here… Trey and Blake are roomies, Mike is married (to either the girl who was his hometown gf that thought he cheated on her constantly or the girl that Matt dated after we had our thing…), Steve is still very anti social, Sean and JC are over in the apartments and Barker’s living off campus… Mark is also still here and still thinks hes a pimp… Still not… Theres also a couple of girls here I know but not very well since I always had one certain group of girls I hung out with… Heather’s in my behavior management class and Donelle’s still here too and Sirena lives down the hall from me…
Back to hot guys… There’s a couple of cute soccer guys (again too young), and a grand total of like one hot baseball guy (shocking… - also too young and in my British lit class), a few hotties in my dorm but no one really stands out… Except one… He’s like punk rock/loser guy hot… I’m weird I know… Whats new there? He’s also funny and very dedicated to his major… He spends all his free time over there working on goodness knows what…
Talked to mom tonight too... Turns out La evacuated from Baton Rouge yesterday and her law school at LSU is closed till prolly the end of the week.... When i talked to her she was on her way out the door to an astros game... the goose couldn't pick out a purse.... i swear....
