Not Your Average Jane

So much to say… So much to say… I heart Dave Matthews songs… Seriously I do have a lot to say… Since I last blogged I have moved from one state to another, started my VERY last semester of college, and had one hellaboring weekend… Hows that for a summary? :0)
So last Saturday I spent the day packing up my car and the night hanging out with my guys, having spent Friday night at the Firehouse seeing Randy Rogers… That was awesomeness personified… Had a friend make a fool of herself but I heart her anyway… Thursday night I went to Pappas Seafood with mom, Linz, and John for my good bye dinner… I thought about goin to the Firehouse but stayed home and packed instead… Saturday night me and the guys finished loading up my 4 runner and hung out and finished my alcohol… Watched TV and played guitar (I watched them since I can’t play), drank, and ordered in Pei Wei…. Yummers….
So Sunday I made the almost 11 hour drive up here to Clarksville, from Houston… talked on the phone to almost everyone in my damn phone book tryin not to fall asleep…. Got here about 7 ish Sunday night, and registered for classes and paid tuition and stuff Monday…. First day of class was Tuesday but since all my classes are MWF, I didn’t have class…. I did meet with Dr Lynda to discuss my independent study class (Early Childhood theories 2) and set up a schedule with her…
Wednesday was my first official day of class, 9 am I have Behavior Management with Dr Betty and at 1 I have Dr Strain for British Literature…. Dr Strain cracks me the blank up… And Dr B…. Is Dr B…. :0) Also met with Dr Lynda at 10 for our weekly meeting… Thursday no class…. Didn’t do much… Friday classes as usual… Friday night I didn’t have jack or jill to do… What did I use to do in Clarksville on the weekends I can’t remember…. Wound up watching DVDs and hanging out on the front porch with the smokers watching a storm come in… Also got my internet finally working in my room Friday afternoon… Saturday slept late and didn’t do much more than watch movies all afternoon… Saturday night I treated myself to goin to see the Dukes of Hazzard (since I still hadn’t and its been out since the beginning of the month…) and got a smoothie at the coffee shop… Yummers…. Went to Walmart yet again (cuz I haven’t been enough this last week, going almost every day… *insert eyeroll* ). Came back to the dorm and went to the dance for a few minutes… Ran into Sam there… Caught up… Came back and watching Amistad… Slept late again today and talked to mom… Turns out Linz had been in New Orleans this weekend with Ken and some other couple… WITH a category 5 hurricane rolling in off the Gulf… They got out ok but according to Mom the drive took almost18 hours…. And it usually only takes 5 and half or 6… THAT’S how bad I 10 was backed up…
So far I haven’t really done much today except for some homework and watching another movie or 2…. I’m kinda getting tired of this shizzle and my own company and shit…. BUT good news… I’m all settled into my room, almost the exact way I want it… There are some cute guys in my British Lit class and I do know some people that are still here… And a couple that live around town too… So far things aren’t looking too bad, but they are definitely looking up… Tommorrow is more class and Tuesday I think I may go to Russellville and hit Hastings and see if they have the new Brandon Rhyder or Stoney Larue or if I need to order them off Lone Star Music…. That’s really about it for now… laters.
