Today would have been Tiff's 16th birthday... Lets have a moment of silence for the worlds coolest, sweetest, most adorable dog EVER...................
Okay moment over... She led a long full life and was loved by everyone who met her... Every now and then I think of her and smile... You want unconditional love? Get a pet, thats unconditional love personified.... :0) Well unless you get unlucky and wind up with El Gato Diablo like me.... lol..... Or actaully for the moment, Becca.... hehehe...
A few things I forgot about in my update.... For those in Houston you may remember Debra Duncan from the Debra Duncan show... Well she was in our store the other day with her baby.... He was SOOOOO cute....
I also ran into a guy that went to high school with my sister Lauren, he bought shoes from one of my guys in men's shoes.... another thing I forgot about was the oh so polite hotties.... Don't know how I forgot about them.... A week ago today they were there actaully... They were Mary's customers but I sort of assisted her a bit.... Assisted meaning sitting around and visiting with the hotties and Mary.... hehehe.... They were sooooo polite and courteous to Mary and myself... they even bought Godiva chocolate bars and gave some to Mary and I.... They were very respectful of the fact Mary's an older lady and very polite to both of us.... I just wanted to melt into a puddle right there.... And then stalk them all over the store and drool some more... hehehe..... But I used the smidgen of self control I had and didnt.... :0) I was proud of me....
lets see.... last night I had a ANOTHER weird dream.... this one was about taking over management of Dillards.... very weird... Speaking of which one of the Dillard sons is visiting the store tommorrow and the whole stores been a tizzy all week... Except me... who could care less.... I'm hard to stress and even harder to impress.... I'm sorry I've met and visited with celebrities and yall havent but its NOT a big deal... he owns part of the store yes but that doesnt mean he's gonna fire your ass for the slightest infraction of the rules or imperfection in displays..... geez..... Nobody and nothing is perfect, get a grip.... Also work related... I noticed that the store manager walks like he has a stick up his butt.... literally.... hehehe....
also I think one of the new guys is harboring a bit of a crush on yours truly... There are 2 new guys... Frank and Rodney... Both young, black, successful (even if they are working at Dillards... hehehe...) and reasonably attractive... They both work in my dept (since Denim is now my official Dept and has been almost a week... they work under me (and no not like that.... :P ). So we were laughing and working today and Frank makes a comment about he and I taking a 15 minute break in the dressing rooms.... this said with a wink at me... No, thank you, but no... So I ignored it and go on with life...
Also... I'm never allowed to follow Cruz around the store again... Dora got me and a few others gabbing on the job (after I'd gotten ALL my work done and was actually caught up for the first time all week) and we were talking in a group of about 4 or 5 people about a get together we've been planning to have... The theme? MALT LIQUOR.... :0) hehehe... Anyway we've just gotten to start discussing a date for it and Dora comes over like guys, shouldn't you be working? and immediately breaks up the party by assigning us all areas to work on (telling me I'm staying and extra hour or 2 cuz of the big visit - I didn't and she didn't catch me leaving at my schedule 6 15 pm.... So screw her and the horse she rooooode in onnnnn.... hehehe I heart the Trailers....). All this half an hour b4 I leave.... wow....
got my RK DVD in the mail yesterday... whoo hoo.... thought about goin to see them at Gruene 2morrow night but thats highly unlikely even WITH the 3 day weekend so I'll probably just wind up goin to the Firehouse and seeing Peter Dawson... BTW, thats right I said I HAVE 3 DAY WEEKEND.... Don't know how it happened but it did and I'm not complaining.... :0) anyway I'm gonna go and watch my new DVD I think... laters.....
