So one month from today, I'll be 26.... Not sure if it'll be a landmark one or not but we'll see.... So everyone has a month to make their plans and get my presents ( ;) ) and that sort of thing... Tentatively (not sure it'll work out or not) I'm planning on being in San Marcos for the Trailers show but it depends on the work situation by then... So again I'm taking a wait and see and approach....
So last night I went to the Firehouse to see Drew Kennedy and Peter Dawson.... It wasn't very crowded but Peter put on a great show as usual... Not sure what I thought about Drew yet... He's got a couple of good songs but then he's got some where it sounds like he's straining to sing... Might have to go see him again to form a better opinion... Got to here my favorite Peter song.... It Aint Texas.... That was my theme song when I was at school at U of O.... No shit... That and Texas on my mind.... Saw Elisabeth and Mei Lee.... Got to sit in my spot and make fun of Eric... Thats always good... :0) I also signed up for the street team and email list... And got a hat.... Though it was a tough call between the hat and the I heart Peter panties... Next time I'll get the panties.... hehehehe.... Speaking of merchandise.... Peter's new merch guy/road manager Chris is a cutie pie.... with a sense of humor no less... I'd have tried to hit it had I not been living at home and cursing mother nature's timing.... Damn I'm being subtle!!!!! Quick take a picture... hehehe....
Got home and talked to Gage and Lav.... Gage told me he wouldn't flirt with me anymore if I had hit it.... Lav and I discussed whether the musicians bad thing applys to merch guys... I think the conclusion was that they were okay.... Least in a few cases.... Monty being one.... We weren't sure about Chris since Lav hasnt met him....
thats about it for now... i need to go run some errands and stuff.... Laters....
